About Us

Hi! We are the Pauley’s, Rhonda and Scott. All the Use The Wall racks are made in our home woodshop in a small town in SW Michigan, which is the town we both grew up in. We are actually childhood sweethearts who shared our first kiss in the 4th grade.

Scott has loved working with wood since high school, and has 30 years experience with machining and woodworking. Some of the things he has made include dulcimers, wood bowls, lamps, tool boxes, recipe boxes and as of lately, lots of RACKS!

In the summer of 2011 while we were finishing up renovating a home, I asked Scott to make me a rack to hang pots and pans on. I had seen something similar in one of his woodworking books. The one he made for me was so great and almost every person who came to our home would comment on it. After about 10 or 12 people commented, I started thinking that maybe we should start selling them. It is easy to find racks that hang from the ceiling, but racks that USE THE WALL don’t seem all that common.

I (Rhonda) had previously owned two small businesses which included mail order products. I thought it only made sense to market these racks online, because there really isn’t too much like this on the market right now. There is always a need for something that will help utilize the space that you have. I think most people who use their kitchens a lot, would probably say they could always use a little more space, or even just something to make their pots, pans and utensils more accessible.

And so that is how we started out. Now we are designing a whole line of other racks, and hope to have them up soon. Thank you for visiting our site!
